DOTS and BOXES

Your decision model should be able to play the popular children game “Dots and Boxes“. Its rules on the left are borrowed from the book “Math Games with Bad Drawings” by Ben Orlin.

You may implement different strategies which are handily available in the above book or by searching a web.

Alternatively, you may try to create a decision model that learns from its own wins and loses similar to what Dr. Bob Moore did for the game “NIM“.

Please submit your solutions using your favorite BR/DM/ML/Optimization tools.

It could be nice if you add a simple GUI and make your model available online so our readers may actually play against it.
