Many systems can be enhanced by AI: for example, given the ability to process natural language, or make subjective decisions that previously required human input. However, enabling users to talk to the business, uncover insights across formerly siloed systems, and leverage the unprecedented ability of coding agents to compile their intelligence into custom UIs. Unlike building AI into existing codebases, AI on top of existing systems doesn’t necessarily require development skills, meaning its potential audience is larger. Code in this layer need not be produced (even indirectly) by developers, but can be generated by LLMs, and run within constrained, safe, environments.
AI on TOP of enterprise systems is more important than INSIDE them
