Back in January 2014, Nick Broom published one of the first real-world decision models — a “Credit Card Application” decisioning example — to demonstrate the newly-released DMN 1.0 standard. Now that many more vendors support DMN, this challenge revives Nick’s original example as a way to compare current implementations of the same relatively simple decision model across tools.
The task: implement the credit card application decision logic (an applicant’s eligibility and terms based on their financial profile) using current best DMN practice, in whichever BR&DM tool you prefer.
