AI to Tackle Real-Time Strategy Games

Google’s Deepmind has released an attempt at tackling StarCraft, considered to be one of the most challenging Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games, that has emerged by consensus as a “grand challenge” for AI research. Starcraft has many more complex elements than Chess or Go: lots of different things going on, information is imperfect and you have to pay in real time against the opponent.
