Decision Modeling With Collections of Objects

Real-world decision models frequently deal with collections of business objects. Some of our previous challenges and their solutions already demonstrated several use cases. The challenge “Make a Good Burger” even includes a DMN FEEL solution that for the first time shows the use of FEEL’s loops and sorting facilities. Another related challenge is “Define Duplicates” that includes an R-based solution.

A new, just published Sep-2015 Challenge “Collections of Cars” specifies even more complex operations on collections of business objects (in this case “cars”). We expect to see more solutions that demonstrate capabilities of vendors who claim to be DMN-compliant and not only from Corticon and OpenRules.
